VIRTUAL SUMMER CAMP

During the Summer of 2020, I developed a virtual science curriculum for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Michigan. Check out some of the fun things we did below!

Fun With Human Biology

Over a period of 8 weeks, I met weekly via Zoom with 3rd and 4th graders to study the human body. We covered different organ systems in a fun and silly way, while still learning the fundamentals of math and science.

Tracing Their Bodies

At the beginning of camp, each student was provided with materials to trace their own body as an anatomy model. Each week, we learned about a new system and they were able to transfer what was learned by adding new organs to their body.

Meet Dr. Bones

Dr. Bones became a class favorite and was a valuable tool utilized when discussing parts of the human body. This crazy doctor wore a different wig each week and made learning fun!
